Designed for beginners with little to no woodworking experience, this four-session class covers wood physics, shop safety and etiquette, an introduction to joinery concepts, and hands-on experience with the most commonly used woodworking machines. The project for this class is a Shaker style step stool featuring housed dado joinery.

Tools covered: Miter saw, planer, jointer, table saw, drill press, sanders, a small amount on the router table.

NOTE: The class is good foundation but you will likely need private lessons or add’l classes to pass Workshop Cert.
