Make your own 16”x16 try square and learn how to mill lumber in this classic beginner hand tools class. In four sessions you'll get hands-on training with essential hand tools--back saws, chisels, and planes.

• Set up, and use a hand plane

• Sharpen chisels and hand planes with a micro-bevel

• Mill boards with a hand plane for a flat, parallel and square surface

• Cut, glue and fasten bridal joints with hand tools

• Learn to square a square
