Make a woodworking mallet with hand tools only

This classic beginner’s project is a perfect start to learning hand tools. You'll get intensive training with back saws, chisels, and planes--while making a mallet with tapered mortise and tenon joinery.

What you'll learn: • Hand tools training • Properties of wood grain • Intro to sharpening
