Big Apple Woodturners - Sept meeting

  • Makeville Studio 125 8th Street Brooklyn, NY, 11215 United States (map)

Tuesday 9/10, 7-9pm

If you want to connect with other woodturners or are curious about what can be made on a wood lathe, join us for the upcoming meeting of Big Apple Woodturners. We will have our usual “show and tell” where members present projects they’ve been working on, tools and techniques worth sharing, and possibly a live instructional demo.

About Big Apple Woodturners

We are an association of people interested in turning wood pieces on the lathe and an official chapter affiliate of the American Association of Woodturners Our purpose is to connect local hobbyists and professionals to meet and learn from each other, and we share a common desire to grow as artists and craftspeople. In that spirit, we provide instructive and constructive criticism about each other’s work, share literature and instructional materials through our growing library, discuss news and opinions about current techniques and artwork, and advise newcomers on how to start up or upgrade equipment.
