Makeville Studio COVID-19 Info

Proof of vaccination is no longer required by NYC, but we strongly encourage our customers to be fully vaccinated. All Makeville instructors and employees are fully vaccinated.

Classes - Group classes are running. We take COVID-19 seriously, and here’s how we’re mitigating risk:

• Small class size - six or fewer students per class.

• Social distancing - the shop layout promotes distancing of 6' or more where possible. That said, there will be instances where you might be 3' apart from someone.

• Masking is required - for both viruses and wood dust.

• Ventilation / air quality - Per CDC guidelines, there is active ventilation using fans, outside air, a/c and air filtration units. Our a/c unit is equipped with MERV-14 filters to capture airborne virus particles.

Community Shop - Open for member use, with the following restrictions:

• Limited capacity to maintain social distancing. Five people max in the workshop area, two in the lathe area. No extra visitors / helpers allowed until further notice.

• Masking is required - for both viruses and wood dust.

• Following CDC-recommended guidelines for workplaces. Cleaning / disinfection of surfaces plus active ventilation.
