Class dates: Thursdays, 7-10pm, 2/14 to 3/14

This class covers the same topics as Intro to Woodworking and is open to women-identified, transgender, and non-binary folks. Designed to empower and build community among diverse beginner woodworkers, this five-session class covers wood physics, shop safety and etiquette, an introduction to joinery concepts, and hands-on experience with the most commonly used woodworking machines.

The project for this class is a small side table featuring half-laps, bridle joints, and a round top. The goal of this course is to build a foundation of skills and knowledge so you can work independently on simple projects or move forward with more advanced classes. All tools, materials and safety equipment are provided.

Level: Beginner - No prerequisite for this class

Price: $495 plus $100 material/equipment fee
